Contemporary Mouthblown Vessel

Jahday is driven to explore the material of glass and its behaviours with compatible materials in a digital world. Jahday was commissioned to create a contemporary take on the use of old-age glass bottles as everyday vessels in the context of the Merchant & Found Vintage Supermarket exhibition for London Design Week. The vessel is mouthblown using a combination of traditional glass blowing techniques creating a unique piece incorporating depth of blended glass colour, wrapped glass detail and dusted colour bringing a creative depth to a vessel used since time in memorial.
